LEAD LACTATION CONSULTANT

• Reporting to the Director of Obstetrical Nursing and Nurse Manager, the Lead Lactation Consultant will oversee the Lactation Department to ensure that the administrative and clinical duties of the Lactation team are met.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school required.
• Experience
  • A minimum of three to five years experience with childbearing families or maternal health nursing preferred.
• Licensure and/or Certification
  • IBLC required.
  • Currently licensed to practice professional nursing in Massachusetts required.
  • BLS Healthcare Provider achieved within 3 months of hire.
• Skills

  • Computer skills.
  • Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
