Electrical Engineer III

The Electrical Engineer 3 - Hardware will have a minimum of 5+ years' experience with design and validation of complex electronic circuits and systems including mixed-signal analog, digital, and RF. Experience with simulation and analysis of such circuits is required. Experience with use of electronics test equipment, such as oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, DMMs, and signal generators. Experience with layout of circuit-card assembly and construction techniques of such circuits is required. Must have experience with concepts of electronics system-level architecture design and development. General knowledge of project engineering methods is required. Knowledge of design and application of radar systems is highly desirable. Knowledge of design and application of motor drive and control is highly desirable.

Essential Functions:

* Must have experience with one or more of the following:
* Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
* RF/Microwave Circuit design
* Analog Circuit design
* Digital electronics design
* FPGA design
* Algorithm Development (Pattern Recognition and Object Tracking)
* LabView Automated Test Stand Design

* Will be required to work independently and with interdepartmental teams.
* Will be required to assist in the design and development of electronic systems.
* Will be required to write and assist in the development of test plans and test procedures.
* Will be required to develop test fixtures, and possibly automation of testing.
* Will be required to assist in lab and field tests of electronic systems.
* Must be able to lead and direct technical work of other engineers and technicians.
* Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications:

* Must be a US Citizen
* Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering; 5+ years related experience and/or training. Master degree in Electrical Engineering related field or an MBA is considered a plus.
* Experience and training in the Military/Aerospace Industry is desirable.
* Professional and/or technical certifications from accredited educational and vocational institutions desired.
* Strong oral/written communication skills.
* Excellent organizational skills.
* Advanced troubleshooting skills required.
* Familiarity with AS9100 is desirable.
* Eligibility to obtain a DoD Security Clearance is a plus.

The wage range for this role considers allowances for a number of factors, including but not limited to required experience, skill level, prior training, licensure/certifications, education and other business needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $97,863 - $157,990.
