The Position

Informatics Partner

The Opportunity

As an Informatics Partner, you build trusted and collaborative relationships with stakeholders, including business functions, healthcare ecosystem partners, Informatics domains and chapters, and external vendors. Your focus is on delivering strategies and solutions that align with Roche's ambitions while driving patient value.

You are the strategic interface for business technology initiatives, strategy development, risk management, and relationship management, ensuring impactful and sustainable outcomes that benefit all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with affiliate, regional, and local stakeholders to drive impactful outcomes by co-creating technology-enabled business strategies aligned with regional and local business objectives.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships to ensure alignment of priorities and foster trust across all levels of the organization.

  • Apply a deep understanding of technology trends and long-term business strategies to co-develop innovative opportunities and solutions that address evolving needs.

  • Proactively identify business opportunities and partner with stakeholders and Informatics teams to enhance products and services.

  • Bring thought leadership to shape differentiated capabilities that drive value for our healthcare ecosystem.

  • Guide stakeholders to synthesize, prioritize, and connect requests to streamline delivery and maximize the impact of Informatics products.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for issue escalation and resolution.

  • Collaborate with Product Leads/Owners to ensure the successful delivery of projects and opportunities in alignment with business expectations.

  • Participate actively in squad, Chapter, and Domain meetings and ceremonies to support shared goals and advance collective capabilities.

  • Share best practices and contribute to knowledge building within the Informatics community.

  • Promote the reuse of existing solutions and advocate for scalable, efficient approaches to address common business challenges.

  • Ensure solutions are optimized to meet both immediate and long-term business needs.

  • Partner with Informatics Chapters and Domains to ensure seamless integration and delivery of IT solutions, driving operational excellence across the ecosystem.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor degree required. An IT, Engineering or a Life Science discipline is preferred.

  • A minimum of 5+ years of successful leadership roles; leadership experience in IT is preferred.

  • You are skilled at leading or co-leading enterprise-level initiatives, demonstrating a broad understanding of the technology sector and a pragmatic approach to addressing complex business needs.

  • You have a high-level understanding of stakeholder relationships and act as a trusted thought partner to align goals, foster effective collaboration, and ensure the successful delivery of mutually beneficial outcomes.

  • You nurture business-savvy, consultative, and value-driven partnerships, consistently delivering impactful outcomes for stakeholders.

  • Your strong business acumen enables you to understand and contribute to business strategies, share ownership of outcomes, and translate business needs into actionable, strategic solutions.

  • With a customer-centric, entrepreneurial, and agile mindset, you navigate ambiguity, manage complexity, and support the business in making informed trade-offs and decisions.

  • You proactively monitor industry and technology trends, identifying opportunities and collaborating with stakeholders to co-develop strategic solutions that drive value.

  • You excel at identifying and collaborating with external healthcare and digital ecosystems to co-create innovative solutions, develop products, and establish strategic roadmaps.

  • You inspire innovation, self-regulation, and empowerment among direct and indirect team members, promoting a culture of growth and accountability.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco, California is $120,800 - $224,400. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
