Job Description

Position Overview

Torch Technologies is looking for a proactive and dedicated Human Resources Intern to join our HR team for the summer of 2025. This internship is tailored for a student who is passionate about pursuing a career in Human Resources and is eager to gain experience in various HR functions such as sourcing, recruiting, training, benefits management, and compliance with labor laws. As an HR Intern, you will work closely with our experienced HR professionals and contribute to important projects that impact our employees and company operations.

Learning Opportunities

Key Responsibilities

During your internship, you may...




  • Assist in sourcing and recruiting activities, including candidate screening and interview coordination.





  • Help in organizing and implementing training programs.



  • Support benefits administration and manage related queries.



  • Participate in documenting performance management processes.



  • Engage in auditing HR practices to ensure compliance with labor laws.



  • Assist in analyzing HR data to provide insights for decision making.





  • Collaborate with HR team members on various projects.



Job Requirements

Qualifications




  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.



  • Interest in and basic understanding of HR functions and labor laws.



  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.





  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.



  • Detail-oriented with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.




Requirements




  • US Citizen.



  • At least 18 years old.





  • Actively enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited educational institution.



  • In good academic standing with a grade point average of 3.0.



  • Commitment to a full-time schedule during the internship period.
