Job Summary

  • Responsible for all aspects of the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of H&W benefits programs, policies, operations, and vendor performance. Develops business cases, defining program objectives and requirements, initiating program setup, establishing and implementing program management plans, monitoring program results, and developing sustainability measures. Has significant latitude for the use of creative direction and may perform as an indirect lead to small project Teams.
Responsibilities
  • Drive innovative initiatives by analyzing industry trends, best practices, and the competitive landscape to incorporate those best aligned with Company strategic objectives, priorities, and long-term goals
  • Leverage vendor relationships by managing performance in accordance with service level agreements to ensure efficient and cost-effective administration of programs
  • Manage the development, tracking, reporting, and analysis of program goals, outcomes, performance metrics to evaluate program progress, gain insight, identify areas for improvement, and make recommendations
  • Advise Leadership in ensuring consistent application and integration of all policies and procedures; local, state, and federal laws; and government regulations pertaining to Benefit practices
  • Provide quality Customer Service and support to Employees, Leadership, Internal Teams
  • Provide subject matter expertise to support the design and development of high impact and interactive events/programs to educate Employees on plans, policies, process, and procedures
  • May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders
  • Drive the design, development, and execution of Health & Wellness programs with a strong focus on innovation and efficiency
  • Analyze industry trends, optimize vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations while enhancing employee experience
  • Provide expert guidance to leadership and develop engaging initiatives that educate employees on benefits programs.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
  • Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, agency rules, and the democratic political process
  • Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems
  • Skilled in collecting, organizing, visualizing, and assimilating data including turning raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software
  • Skilled in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
  • Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense
  • Ability to choose the right mathematical methods or formulas to solve a problem
  • Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand
Education
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience
  • Advanced-level experience, seasoned and specialized knowledge in:
    • Financial planning and benefits administration, and/or legal representation in the area of benefits
Licensing/Certification

Physical Abilities
  • Ability to perform work duties from limited space workstation/desk/office area for extended periods of time
  • Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
Other Qualifications
  • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines

Pay & Benefits:

  • Competitive market salary from $105,550 - $117,300* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
