Summary:

Performs diagnostic cardiology procedures and related techniques producing images for the interpretation by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner.

Provides appropriate patient care (newborn infant child adolescent adult geriatric).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • One to three years experience preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of cardiovascular technology cardiac pathophysiology hemodynamics.
  • EKG recordings: prep technique and lead placements.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks/projects.
  • Good communication skills ethical and professional conduct good understanding of age-related developmental issue of pediatrics and geriatrics.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed weekend rotate.
  • Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of concentration memory retention alertness and the ability to handle stress with quick response to assigned duties.


EDUCATION:



  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Successful completion of dysrhythmia course
  • BLS required
