Job Summary Coordinates, plans, schedules, and implements noncredit classes and membership activities for Rio Salado College's RISE Learning for Life program. Duties include identifying and scheduling volunteer class presenters, collecting membership fees, supporting student registration, writing class descriptions, producing class catalogs, managing databases, and collecting, analyzing, and reporting program data. Requires technology and customer service skills. Interfaces with multiple departments in the performance of duties. Essential Functions 60% - Coordinates, plans, schedules, and implements noncredit classes and membership activities for Rio Salado College's RISE Learning for Life program. Identify, train, and schedule volunteer in-person and virtual presenters. Writes and proofreads class descriptions, utilizes computer software to produce class catalogs multiple times per year, prepares catalog for printing, and arranges for distribution to members according to established deadlines 20% - Processes and records membership payments; prepares monthly reports. Manages databases, class scheduling, and attendance records 10% - Plans, coordinates, and implements special events. Provides customer service related to RISE Learning for Life volunteer presenters, members, classes, and other inquiries 10% - Participates in program development, meeting goals, objectives, and deadlines Minimum Qualifications An associate's degree with one (1) year of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered. Desired Qualifications A. One (1) year of experience in intermediate to advanced administrative, office, or instructional support B. One (1) year of experience managing databases, collecting, analyzing, and reporting program data. C. One (1) year of experience providing customer service in a fast-paced environment D. One (1) year of knowledge in general office policies, processes, software, tools and equipment (example- Google Drive, gmail, multi-line phone, Zoom) Special Working Conditions The position will be located at 12353 W.
