How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the financial operations of the company. This position requires a highly motivated and experienced individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and analyzing financial data. He/she is an integral part of the E&C Americas finance and accounting team and reports
directly to the Accounting and Treasury Manager for E&C Americas.

  • Accounting and Reporting:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS. Responsible for close entries pertaining to the GL. Assist in the consolidation in IRIS with documentation of additional schedules.

  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts, identify and propose and book adjustments as needed

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist Operations control team in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.

  • Audit Support: Provide support during internal and external audits, preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.

  • Treasury

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting pertaining to cash (net debt, cash flows, liquidities)

  • Assist in tracking of hedges and related reporting

  • Ad-hoc requests: Assist in upcoming projects as needed (including but not limited to new ERP implementation, COA alignment and other duties as assigned)

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls.

  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.

Are you a MATCH?
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field required

  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a senior role.

  • Certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification preferred.

  • Skills: Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, and accounting software (SAP preferred).

  • Proficiency: Proficient in G-Suite and Excel.

  • Attributes: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Characteristics: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Fluent in the English language (oral and written)
