ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Contacts assigned accounts on a regular basis, representing, building and maintaining a positive image of the organization in a professional, responsible and effective manner.
  • Presents and promotes the products and services offered to assigned accounts and strives to make each assigned account a successful contributor to organization's profitability.
  • Stays abreast of market conditions and trends within assigned territory and reports these changes and the status of conditions to supervisor and other key appropriate inside personnel.
  • Manages and develops the market potential of assigned territory and seek ways to broaden sales base.
  • Actively assists in the development and training of assigned primary sales coordinator and works assigned accounts aggressively as a team in order to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Develops means to expand and improve sales and increase profit margins for the organization.
  • Increases knowledge and application of products and sales skills through personal development activities. Secures quotation feedback, contributes to quotation development, and provides follow-up of same.
  • Improves customer and public relations in assigned territory and resolving any customer problems to a satisfactory conclusion of the organization and to the customer.
  • Offers suggestions to supervisor regarding cost saving measures, reports needed, sales techniques, additions of products and product lines, changes to service area, department policies and procedures, and overall operations of department.
  • Submit required reports on a timely basis in all areas and activities of responsibility; responsible for reviewing and using available computerized information.
  • Responsible for maintenance and safe use of assigned vehicle.
  • The ability to handle stress and work well with others are essential functions of this position.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
  • Due to our obligation to provide continuous, reliable electric service to our customers, the ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance and the ability to work outside your regularly scheduled office hours when necessary is an essential function of the job.



Minimum Qualifications

Associates degree in Business Administration or related field, plus at least 6 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While performing the functions of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions, risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES

Semi-repetitive, low physical. Semi-repetitive type work which requires periods of concentration for varied time cycles as prescribed by the tasks.

While performing the functions of this job, the employee is continuously required to talk or hear; frequently required to stand, sit; and occasionally required to walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and distance vision. In pursuant of the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Act 593, this position is a designated safety-sensitive position according to AECC/AECI standards and processes.
