This position has responsibility for growing revenue and profit in the Back-Up division through developing a strategic vision for meeting the supply needs of the organization. From this strategy they develop a plan to execute the strategy. This includes managing the relationships that deliver our supply, analyzing and managing the performance of the supply partners to assure we deliver appropriate quality and targeted costs. They further work with program, client relations, and clients to deliver client specific solutions, and solve for challenging problems in markets with limited or no coverage. They ensure client satisfaction and business performance is delivered through the provider supply network. The manager has a portfolio of approximately $30 million in budget.

Responsibilities:
  • Determining provider strategy to meet the needs of the business in their areas of responsibility

  • Develops solutions for areas of the business where we have no current solution. Solves complex problems to develop these solutions that include detailed analysis, creative thinking, complex research, critical negotiation skills, and advanced relationship management. These solutions involve a combination of departments including product, program, client relations, client services, and marketing.

  • Presentation of the strategy to Sr Management to gain alignment on strategy

  • Manages a team or 2-5 individuals either directly or indirectly to deliver on solutions and manage relationship

  • P&L analysis to determine the financial impact of various strategic solutions on the profit of the organization

  • Working with program, client relations, client services, and clients to develop specific solutions to meet client needs in the markets the client operates.

  • Participating in client meetings, RFP responses, and client sales meetings to discuss capacity solutions

  • Developing the content and positioning for provider solutions in marketing materials and internal communications.

  • Analyzing the needs and performance of markets and providers

  • Negotiating with the providers to set rates and contract terms

  • Communicating with the providers to find solutions to business needs and to improve performance, where needed.

  • Work with client relations and clients to build plans for network improvement.

  • Special projects as assigned, including developing new strategic care delivery solutions, developing new products and supply for new products, and working on client specific task forces to ensure client retention and satisfaction.

Minimum Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degreein Or equivalent experience analyzing markets and managing large supplier relationships

  • 4 years of client management, account management, or vendor management experience

Additional Job Requirements
  • Ability to analyze and derive decisions from complex data
  • Ability to manage complex escalations from customers and providers

  • Ability to interact with many stakeholders including CR/CS, Providers, Product, and Senior management

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as excellent phone manner

  • Proficient in basic Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Results driven leader

  • Strong financial acumen

  • Strong analytical competency

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong organizational and time management skills as well as attention to detail

Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $75,000 - 85,000 annually. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.
