About the Job

The details of the special projects include:

  • Creating and facilitating a grade norming process & procedures within our courses and between our instructors
  • Set up workshops
  • Facilitate conversations on grade norming
  • Research best practices on how to do this work
  • Identify what we need to assess student learning outcomes
  • Create a process utilizing best practices
  • Identify a course where we can do a pilot and then determine how to expand
  • Write a report to indicate how students meet our learning objectives in a course

This position is for March 25 - June 30, 2025.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Masters in Leadership Studies
  • Experience with curriculum development and course assessment
  • Experience with training and instructor development

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD in Leadership Studies
  • Leading efforts for curricular change and development
About the Department

The Leadership Minor's strategic partnership within the University of Minnesota is core to its identity and mission. The conceptual idea to create the minor originated from an Office of Student Affairs (OSA) assessment of student needs and interests related to leadership development. Housed within the Office of Student Affairs, with the Office of Undergraduate Education as an academic partner, the Leadership Minor uniquely blends academic vigor and student development.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $35.00 per hour; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
