Sentara Medical Group (SMG) is now hiring a Full-Time Patient Care Representative in Broadway, VA!

Hours:Monday-Friday, Dayshift. 40 hours a week.

As aPatient Care Representativewith Sentara, you will be responsible for the registration process of new and current patients at the site.

Primary responsibility will focus on completing check-in and check-out functions to include collection of co-pays, scheduling of appointments, and requests for medical records. Answers telephone calls and greets all patients and visitors with a smile.

Qualifications:

  • Required to have a High School Diploma.
  • Must have ability to communicate with insurance carriers and discharge planners in a professional manner. Must be enthusiastic and energetic.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Some experience of office front desk in a medical setting preferred.
