With 30,000 global employees, the second largest enterprise software company, and customers that are driving disruption around the world, we are proud to contribute to the success of companies of all sizes, geographies and industries.The Salesforce Retail & Consumer Goods Industries Marketing team is looking for a talented and passionate Senior Manager, Product Marketing to drive vision, messaging, awareness, and go-to-market strategy for the newest industry cloud, Retail Cloud with Modern Point of Sale (POS). In this role, you will be a subject matter expert in the Retail industry and will define, guide and create content and messaging at the tip of the marketing spear, helping to build and drive awareness for a business critical product in the Salesforce for Retail product portfolio. You will help lead the messaging evolution of Retail Cloud as Salesforce continues to advance as a leader in agentic AI and Unified Commerce. You will leverage a deep, technical product understanding and be able to translate that to ensure our customers understand the value of AI agents and helps every customer become an Agentforce company.Responsibilities:
  • Develop Positioning, Messaging, and Go-to-market Strategy: work with the industry's best marketing team to help define the messaging, positioning and go-to-market strategy for Salesforce Retail Cloud with Modern POS and it's evolution
  • Drive marketing pipeline: act as the portfolio expert, working with the industry's most respected sales team to develop plays and GTM programs that help drive pipeline, find new buyers, and cross-sell into existing accounts;
  • Event Marketing: support differentiated event marketing experiences at Salesforce and industry third-party events; help identify and project manage new industry event opportunities
  • Website: Manage the Retail Cloud website, support SEO, and web design to build pipeline
  • Customer Storytelling: collect and prioritize candidate customer stories from product leaders, sales teams and partners; establish partnerships with customers and develop case studies and reference stories
  • Content Development: create and deliver visionary and compelling content for internal, external and customer-facing activations and presentations; drive the creation of thought leadership content, webinars, and webcasts to evangelize our message
  • Demos: dream up engaging product demonstrations that are used on stage in keynotes, in videos and are the basis for customer engagements in the sales process
  • Product Release Marketing: support product launch plans to ensure effective and ongoing relevancy in the market to drive demand generation and sales pipeline; work closely with product GM to identify product roadmap and manage release marketing
  • Sales Enablement: develop effective sales training materials and operationalize enablement, making it easy for sales to understand our product offerings and key positioning
Required Skills/Experience:
  • 6+ years experience in product marketing or closely related experience
  • 3+ years of experience in the Retail industry preferred, though not required. General understanding or familiarity with Retail technology, specifically POS, is necessary.
  • Ability to craft compelling positioning and thought leadership content
  • Hands-on ability to create a range of marketing assets including on-message product demo videos, sharp succinct slide pitch-decks in Apple Keynote and Google Slides
  • Experience/familiarity with the customer engagement lifecycle and Salesforce CRM applications
  • Ability to use data and analytics to drive decision making as well as a strong track record of setting and delivering against measurable marketing metrics
  • Strong communication and writing skills and ability to work across business lines, presenting to and working with stakeholders
  • Exceptional team player with proven ability to work with and influence cross functional teams

Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance and the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring, Salesforce will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $169,600 to $213,800. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $169,600 to $233,200. For Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $155,400 to $213,800. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
