Location: Stephenson Cancer Center Shift Available: Full-Time (40 hours/week), 10-hr shifts between Monday-Friday The Main Chemotherapy Infusion Center is an adult outpatient facility at the Stephenson Cancer Center with 43 patient treatment bays, treating roughly 100-125 patients with Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy each day. This is a fast-paced, team-centered environment that requires great communication skills and the ability to multitask. Our department orientation includes one-on-one precepting and becoming ONS certified to be able to administer Chemotherapy, so we welcome candidates who are willing to learn a new specialty. General Description: Under general supervision of a registered nurse, provides nursing care in a hospital based outpatient department to an assigned group of patients with a complex oncology diagnosis. General Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: Education: Completion of educational requirements for NCLEX-PN examination. Completes Oncology Specific courses and competencies within 1 year of hire Experience: Oncology or previous health care office experience preferred License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Current LPN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact LPN License (eNLC) required. Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
