Venue Walker

SUMMARY

The Venue Walker, as a part of the festival waste diversion program, is responsible for assisting the Resource Operations Team in increasing waste diversion through waste sorting to help capture a clean stream of recyclables, compost, and other materials that can be diverted from landll.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • BOH
  • Work alongside Resources Supervisor, Resource Operations Sta and Temp Labor in BOH waste sorting operations
  • Appropriately sort landll, compost, and recyclable items and ensure the proper disposal of each into the appropriate roll-o
  • Assist Resource Operations drivers in unloading waste bags
  • Adhere to all safety measures assigned to you by Waste Gang Supervisor
  • Properly maintain the sorting area
  • Breakdown cardboard and properly dispose of liquids
  • Assist Waste Gang Supervisor on special projects, i.e. Donation Program
  • FOH
  • Educate festival attendees about what's recyclable vs. compostable
  • Distribute recycling liners in campgrounds and promote donation center program
  • Monitor FOH trash enclosures to ensure attendees are disposing waste into the correct bin and top sort recycling and compost waste bins as needed.
  • Work alongside Resource Operations sta to ensure correct colored liners are being used for each bin
  • Communicate any food vendor serviceware that is non-compostable or non-recyclable to Sustainability Engagement Supervisor
  • Adhere to all safety measures assigned to you by Waste Gang Supervisor


QUALIFICATIONS



  • Knowledgeable and passionate about environmental issues
  • Show basic understanding of waste diversion and how to compost and recycle
  • May be required to lift heavy objects such as trash bags, 5 gallon buckets or pallets of stock
  • Ability to work outdoors in possibly extreme heat, high winds and cold desert conditions
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment


PREFERENCES



  • Experience in sustainability education or sustainability events

Must be available Thursday - Sunday, 4/9/25 - 4/30/25, plus a few days prior for training (date TBD)

Pay Scale: $20.00

Venue Compost & Cardboard Driver

SUMMARY

We are looking for responsible drivers who are able to drive a kubota/ cart with a trailer (6x12) dual or single axle trailer as well as being able to backup kubota with a trailer

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Pick-up and dispose of materials
  • Clean and supply designated festival areas FOH/BOH
  • Carry out heavy cleanings tasks and special projects
  • May assist in special projects
  • moving materials, assets, etc..


QUALIFICATIONS



  • May be required to lift heavy objects such as trash bags, 5 gallon buckets or pallets of stock.
  • Must have a Valid Driver's License and experience driving a 6'x12' single or dual axle trailer
  • Be comfortable working in a fast paced environment
  • Endurance for long hours and the ability to work outdoors in possibly extreme heat, high winds and cold desert conditions.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE



  • Basic use of email, smart phone applications

Camping Kubota Driver

SUMMARY

We are looking for responsible drivers who are able to drive a kubota/ cart with a trailer (6x12) dual or single access trailer as well as being able to backup the kubota with trailer

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Camping Maintenance
  • Clean and maintain festival grounds/camping areas
  • Properly dispose of compost/recycle/landfill waste
  • Carry out heavy cleanings tasks and special projects


QUALIFICATIONS



  • May be required to lift heavy objects such as trash bags, 5 gallon buckets or pallets of stock.
  • Must have a Valid Driver's License experience driving a 6'x12' single or dual axle trailer
  • Endurance for long hours and the ability to work outdoors in possibly extreme heat, high winds and cold desert conditions.

Temp Labor Administrative Assistant (Bilingual - English & Spanish)

SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Temp Labor Administrative Assistant to support our team during the Coachella and Stagecoach events. The ideal candidate is bilingual (English and Spanish)with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Docs. You will be responsible for creating andmanaging complex spreadsheets, drafting custom formulas, and providing essential administrativesupport in a fast-paced event environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Draft, maintain, and update detailed spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel
  • Develop and implement custom formulas to analyze and track labor data
  • Create, edit, and manage documents in Google Docs for administrative tasks
  • Assist with labor administration, including data entry, record keeping, and scheduling.
  • Coordinate communication between teams and vendors, ensuring clarity in both English and Spanish
  • Provide on-site support during the Coachella and Stagecoach weekends
  • Adapt to a dynamic event schedule and work collaboratively with event staff


QUALIFICATIONS



  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (verbal and written)
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Excel, including the ability to draft and troubleshoot custom formulas
  • Proficiency with Google Docs and related productivity tools
  • Prior experience in labor administration or a related field preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment


REQUIRED AVAILABILITY

* Open availability is required.
* Must be available to work five consecutive days (Thursday-Monday) from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AMduring all three event weekends, as well as a few days leading up to the festival (Monday-Friday,9:00 AM-5:00 PM). Please note that the schedule is subject to change.

Pay Scale: $22.00
