Corporate Staff Accountant - US Remote

Our Team:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Staff Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be a detailed-oriented professional with a proven ability to take initiative, own outcomes, and work independently and will have strong experience in accounting, month end close procedures, US GAAP revenue recognition. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with the Company's accounting and reporting processes, especially the month, quarter, and year-end close process and report directly to the Director, Corporate Controller.

What You Will Do:

• Take ownership of the full revenue cycle, including accounts receivable, deferred revenue, and customer credit activities, ensuring accurate and timely revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAP.
• Play a critical role in the monthly and quarterly close process, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks and contributing to the overall efficiency of the financial reporting cycle.
• Perform detailed monthly account reconciliations to maintain the accuracy and reliability of financial records.
• Work closely with internal and external auditors, actively participate in audits, and contribute to the documentation and execution of key internal controls to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
• Proactively identify opportunities to streamline and improve accounting processes, increasing efficiency and accuracy within the financial reporting function.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and prepare reports to support management decision-making across the organization.
• Participate in various projects and initiatives, applying accounting expertise to support strategic goals.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA certification (or in the process of certification) is preferred.
• Experience in Big 4 accounting firms or companies with >$300M in revenue.
• 3+ years of experience.
• Thorough understanding of US GAAP.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to learn quickly.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently in a remote work setting.
• Good attitude, willingness to learn and contribute to a high-performing accounting and finance team.
