The CSAD team is responsible for the SAFETY, OBD and DIAGNOSABILITY of the Propulsion system and the candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the powertrain, its Control & its calibrations are designed & validated, in accordance with the ISO26262 and to the regional safety requirements, the OBD conformity of the Powertrains control, worldwide (Europe, North America, China, etc. the propulsion system can be diagnosed in plant, and efficiently repaired in Aftersales. Inside CSAD, the EMEA and North America teams aim at ensuring the safety of the calibrated Propulsion System Control, for every Region where our vehicles are sold. Moreover, they lead the execution of all CSAD activities for the different programs and are our front office to the different Project chiefs. The Functional Safety Engineer plays a key role in designing and delivering the regulatory and non-regulatory safety requirements, and the functional safety requirements (per ISO26262), for propulsion system electronic controls design and development, support the propulsion program execution by participation in supplier requirements review, Safety Release reviews, development and validation activities, and issue solving and will perform detailed requirements development for new features and/or newly integrated electronic controls functionality.
