JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Electrical & Instrumentation system design.
* Applying sound project design engineering principles.
* Ensure systems and equipment are designed and installed in accordance with regulatory standards.
* Assist with project reviews and system design.
* Review field installations to ensure compliance with design.
* Verification and completion of as-built drawings.
* Work directly with Project Engineers, Project Planners and Construction Field Coordinators to define project implementation requirements.
* Develop electrical & instrumentation drawings
* Field verification as required to support project design.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Duty/Responsibilities % of Time

Develop electrical & instrumentation drawings 60%
Updating as-built drawings 30%
Assist Project Construction Coordinator as needed with construction activities 5%
Work with Project Planner to establish resources 5%

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate degree in Drafting/Design Technology or equivalent
8 years experience in electrical & instrumentation design in the process and industrial field
* Excellent Auto CADD operating skills.
* Field verification technique knowledge.
* Understanding of electrical & instrumentation design practices and regulations
* In-depth knowledge of design codes, standards and regulations (i.e., NEC,OSHA, ADA, , etc.) as may be applicable to electrical & instrumentation.
* Previous manufacturing experience - particularly with process related equipment (i.e., Switch Gear, MCC, Power Panels, Instruments and I/O systems, etc.).
* Capable of working independently.
This position is in a manufacturing environment that requires:
* The ability to ascend and descend stairs on a periodic basis.
* The ability to access all areas of the plant.
* This position requires working the plant core business hours.
* Extended hours and weekend work required when needed to support plant activities.
