This position will be based in Pennsylvania, Washington D.C. or Virginia and requires regular travel within your assigned territory. Occasional travel to company sites may be required as needed.

Gallo is seeking a dynamic and innovative Director of On-Premise Distributor Management to spearhead our annual sales plan and drive our business forward. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and executing Gallo's annual OP sales strategy, overseeing pricing plans, and delivering on revenue and profit targets. Your leadership will set the direction for our distributor partners, ensuring compliance with legal standards and fostering an environment of open communication and collaboration.

As the Director, you will split your time between winery/distributor-facing responsibilities and field execution. You will work closely with distributor leadership to ensure the successful execution of sales plans and market strategies. Your financial acumen will be crucial in managing budgets and ensuring the profitability of our brands. You will also play a key role in the career development and training of your team, fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of Winery/distributor sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility OR bachelor's degree plus 10 years of sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR high school diploma or state-issued equivalency certificate plus 12 years of winery/distributor sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 14 years of sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Supervisory/managerial experience.
  • Required to travel by air and automobile up to 60% during the course of business.
  • Candidate is required to have a valid driver's license, a safe driving record and reliable vehicle (if applicable) at the time of hire. This position will undergo a motor vehicle check (MVR) to confirm a history of safe and responsible driving. If needed, candidate must obtain the appropriate state driver's license based on the position's location within 30 days of hire.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

What You Will Set You Apart:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 10 years of Gallo winery sales or distributor sales experience to include a prior director level rotation within Gallo winery sales reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Master's degree plus 8 years of Gallo winery sales or distributor sales experience to include a prior director level rotation within Gallo winery sales reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Gallo Sales/Distributor management experience.

Compensation:

  • Hiring salary range posted: $178,200- $267,400/ year
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
