The Territory Manager for our ENT side of the business is responsible for selling and promoting PENTAX Medical products. This position drives revenue growth by developing new accounts and pushing territory expansion.


Responsibilities of Medical Device Sales - Territory Manager (OH)



  • Achieving sales targets and quotas within a defined territory
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within hospitals, clinics, and private practices specializing in otolaryngology
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers, including ENT physicians, surgeons, nurses, procurement staff, and hospital administrators
  • Conducting sales presentations, product demonstrations, and clinical evaluations to showcase product features, benefits, and value proposition
  • Negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms of sale
  • Managing and growing existing accounts


Product Knowledge and Training:


  • Developing and maintaining an in-depth understanding of the company's ENT product portfolio, including features, benefits, clinical applications, and competitive landscape
  • Providing product training and education to healthcare professionals, ensuring proper usage and understanding
  • Staying current on industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in ENT medicine.
  • Attending medical conferences, trade shows, and continuing education events to expand knowledge and network with healthcare professionals


Territory Management:


  • Developing and executing a territory sales plan to maximize sales performance and market share
  • Analyzing sales data, market trends, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and challenges
  • Managing expenses and adhering to budget guidelines
  • Planning and organizing sales activities, including customer visits, presentations, and events
  • Maintaining accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market data using a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system


Clinical Support and Customer Service:


  • Providing clinical support to healthcare professionals, including assisting with product implementation, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing on-site support during procedures
  • Addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, such as marketing, customer service, and technical support, to provide comprehensive support to customers
  • Acting as a liaison between the customer and the company, relaying customer feedback and market insights.


Compliance and Reporting:


  • Adhering to all relevant regulations, policies, and ethical guidelines related to medical device or pharmaceutical sales
  • Maintaining accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market data using a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system
  • Submitting timely and accurate sales reports, expense reports, and other required documentation


Qualifications of: Medical Device Sales - Territory Manager (OH)


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation and negotiation
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and internal team members
  • Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and customer needs
  • Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Identify and resolve customer issues effectively
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team


Requirements of: Medical Device Sales - Territory Manager (OH)



  • A bachelor's degree required, biology, biomedical science or business
  • Prior sales experience, preferably in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM software.
