As the Senior Supplier Management Program Manager on the AGC DCOps team, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's dedicated online services supporting the U.S. Government. While our U.S. Government dedicated datacenter operations team has a sharp focus on serving our U.S. Government customers and helping them achieve federal missions, together, all of Microsoft's Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) infrastructure is comprised of a large global portfolio of more than 160 datacenters hosting millions of servers. Our foundation is built upon and managed by a team of subject matter experts working to support services for more than 1 billion customers and 20 million businesses in over 90 countries worldwide. As the Senior Supplier Management Program Manager for AGC DCOps, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining effective relationships with all suppliers delivering goods and services to AGC DCOps. You will manage supplier performance and relationships through strategic communication, development initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts. Additionally, you will drive value and efficiency while developing a comprehensive supplier program for datacenter operations to meet business objectives. Be at the forefront of the action in CO+I as part of our AGC DCOps team, the CO+I AGC organization, and the broader Microsoft AGC community.
ResponsibilitiesResponsible for onboarding new suppliers, ensuring they meet the company's standards and requirements. This includes managing supplier accounts, adding users, and assigning roles.Oversee the creation, review, and approval of contracts. Ensure contracts are compliant and updates are made in a timely manner.Establish a supplier governance model to drive end-to-end supplier management, including financial, risk, relationship, performance escalations, compliance, and vendor-driven innovation.Develop collaborative relationships with suppliers, field, and regional teams to drive business deliverables. Align OKRs between key stakeholders and suppliers, and facilitate communication between both sides. This includes scheduling meetings, providing guidance, and addressing any issues or concerns that arise.Maintain supplier scorecards and dashboards, and deliver summary overviews and communications.Lead ROB planning and business reviews with cross-functional teams and suppliers. Conduct gap analyses and manage action items to closure.Provide training and support to suppliers to ensure their development. This includes conducting gap analyses, developing new tools or processes, and ensuring suppliers have access to necessary resources and support.Categorize the suppliers based on spend and complexity, and develop sourcing strategies such as lease vs. buy, single or dual source. Provide ongoing feedback between suppliers and internal teams to ensure business continuity.Embody Microsoft culture and values. |
