What you'll do

As a Sr. Project Manager, you will collaborate with our customers while providing consulting services and expert project management governance to ensure success of their implementation. We are looking for a Senior Project Manager (PM) to join our Professional Services team. The Docusign Professional Services team handles customer implementation and integration projects. The goals of the PM are to develop and handle the schedules for consulting engagements, ensure proactive communication to customers and internal staff, handle enhancement requirements and issues, and overall project governance. You will use the Docusign Project Management Methodology to initiate, plan, design, implement, monitor, control and close projects. You will handle risks, including making decisions to reduce uncertainty. The PM will play a critical role in the success of the Professional Services team. We are expanding a premier Professional Services organization that already has a consistent track record of working with Fortune 500 IT departments, system integrators, independent software manufacturers and open source communities.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Manager, Project Management Office.

Responsibility

  • Lead projects ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery and guidance to project resources and our customers that provide impactful solutions and result in highly referenceable accounts enabling strong adoption, renewal and upsell

  • Plan, organize and run all phases of a project to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Be customer centric in style and approach, with a genuine desire to create and deliver value for customers throughout the project and deliver an outstanding customer experience

  • Collaborate with the Docusign team to proactively uncover additional customer needs and support documenting client requirements and expectations

  • Meet all Professional Services team success criteria including utilization target, customer satisfaction score and financial requirements

  • Adopt and evangelize our Docusign implementation methodology and provide ongoing input to maintain and enhance our methodology

  • Support organization initiatives to enhance and expand our team's knowledge and our services offerings

  • Maintain up to date required product knowledge including connectors and partner products as appropriate for your role

  • Provide mentorship to less experienced team members

  • Travel up to 25% of the time


Job Designation

Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time.

Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. What you bring

Basic

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 8+ years of experience managing client software enterprise projectsand a proven track record of delivering projects on time and on budget
  • 5+ years of experience with supporting client process optimization and change management

Preferred

  • Master's degree or equivalent
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Background in Software-as-a-Service project management and understanding of business operations and concepts
  • Experience using a CRM solution such as Salesforce
  • Superior communication skills to convey customer objectives, success strategies, and customer insights for internal and external partners
  • Consistent track record of achieving Professional Services financial results while maintaining high customer satisfaction
  • Comfort in presenting to C-suite executives
  • Experience using Smartsheets for project management
  • Experience working in one or more of the following industries: FinServ, Tech, Telecom, Healthcare, Real Estate, Insurance, Education, Public Sector

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $108,600.00 - $163,500.00 base salary

Illinois and Colorado: $106,400.00 - $154,325.00 base salary

Washington, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $106,400.00 - $157,425.00 base salary

Washington DC: $108,600.00 - $157,425.00 base salary

This role is also eligible for the following:

  • Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
  • Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
