Position Summary: As an Eviden Apprentice in Cybersecurity, you will join our dynamic team to learn and contribute to essential cybersecurity functions. This apprenticeship is designed to develop foundational skills in cybersecurity while working under experienced mentors, providing hands-on experience with security technologies, risk assessment, threat analysis, and compliance. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow in the cybersecurity field, with a commitment to safeguarding digital assets and maintaining data security standards. This is a 12-month apprenticeship which on completion will result in the offer of a full-time role with Eviden if the apprentice has reached the appropriate standard by passing the milestones as defined below. Provide Tier 1 CENURION Secured monitoring and analysis services with escalation to Tier 2 Team Leaders. This requires an apprentice to escalate 20 Tickets / Week for the duration Phase 1. 2. Complete certification training (250hrs) appropriate to the CENTURION development program also meeting the Relevant Industry Training (RIT) in accordance with the Department of Labor (DoL) criteria. This requires the apprentice to successfully acquire the iSC2 Certified in Cybersecurity certification. Phase 1 - Security Fundamentals
Phase 2 - Months 4-6 1. Provide Tier 1 CENURION Secured monitoring and analysis services with escalation to Tier 2 Team Leaders. This requires an apprentice to escalate 20 Tickets / Week for the duration Phase 2. 2. Complete certification training (250 hrs.) appropriate to the CENTURION development program also meeting the Relevant Industry Training (RIT) in accordance with the Department of Labor (DoL) criteria. This requires the apprentice to successfully acquire the CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification. 3. Apprentice will also be required to secure the ORCA Level 1 SOC Analyst certification. Phase 2 - Project WINDSOR
Phase 3 - Months 6-12 1. Assist in monitoring Eviden customer network activity to identify, analyze, and mitigate potential security threats and vulnerabilities. 2. Participate in incident response and investigation activities, documenting findings and supporting remediation efforts as required. 3. Support the development and implementation of security protocols and policies to ensure compliance with industry standards as required. 4. Collaborate with senior cybersecurity staff on risk assessments, vulnerability management, and when appropriate, penetration testing as required. 5. Assist in configuring and maintaining cybersecurity tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) software as required. 6. Help conduct cybersecurity awareness training and education for staff to promote secure practices as required. 7. Stay current with cybersecurity tools, trends and best practices specific to Eviden customers. 8. Complete certification training (250 hrs.) appropriate to the CENTURION development program also meeting the Relevant Industry Training (RIT) in accordance with the Department of Labor (DoL) criteria. This requires the apprentice to successfully acquire the CompTIA Security+ or CySA+ certification. 9. Apprentice will also be required to secure the ORCA Level 2 Incident Responder and Level 3 Crisis Manager certifications. Phase 3 - Project SANDRINGHAM - Onboarding and Orientation

Salary for Announcement Under Colorado law, MSU Denver is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role and should not offer a salary outside of the range posted in this job announcement. This range takes into account a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, analysis of internal equity, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience. The annual salary range that the university reasonably expects to pay for this position during the paid phases of the program is $41,600 - $50,366. This position is paid monthly and is eligible for MSU Denver benefits. Schedule Information
