Current Need:

McKesson Provider Solutions is seeking an experienced sales operations analyst with a proven track record of process execution, strategic thinking, and collaboration. A preferred candidate would have previous experience in sales operations, analysis, and project management.

Contributes to Business Development Directors and Leadership sales operations needs and strategic planning related to sales implementation. Assists in coordinating new account set-up activities with cross-functional departments, and defines overall execution plans strategically. Adequately completes assigned sales operations tasks related to new business implementation. Ability to navigate McKesson Provider Solutions unique business. The Sales Operations Analyst is expected to collaborate excellently with the Business Development Directors, build direct relationships with prospective customers, deliver strong prospect-facing communications, maximize prospect engagement with McKesson, and deliver an excellent prospective customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports Business Development team in coordinating and tracking all sales operations activities necessary during the active sales process, and post-award through the onboarding process, in order to secure new accounts effectively

  • Acts as Liaison between the sales team, internal support teams, and prospective customer

  • Designs and reviews prospective account success plans with leadership, with analysis of progress based on SLA's

  • Identifies and proposes strategies for process improvement to leadership with prospective solutions and timelines

  • Communicates with prospective customer to gather necessary information related to completion of the sale

  • Clearly and quickly answers prospective customer and BDD questions that arise during the sales process

  • Strong Communication skills with clients a must

  • Salesforce administration / tracking / updating

  • Tracks cross-functional department dependencies and progress along timelines for dedicated BDD market

  • Provider Solutions liaison to RFP support team to support effective optimal responses

  • Validates that Implementations are completed timely and accurately, in collaboration with the onboarding team.

  • Assists with contract draft requests

  • Executes process improvements with demonstrated ability to find creative solutions

  • Develops a knowledge base of assigned markets, physician practice dynamics, and prospect concerns related to a distribution conversion

  • Participation in training and educational key learning initiatives

Minimum Requirement:

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of sales support, sales operations, and/or project management experience.

Critical Skills:

  • 4+ years' experience in sales operations or related fields

  • Ability to travel occasionally (up to 10%)

  • Salesforce proficiency

  • High level of oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to successfully work remotely and independently

  • Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel

  • Salesforce.com, CRM, SAP, Tableau software experience helpful

  • Team player with strong interpersonal and resource management skills

Additional Skills

  • Experience in healthcare distribution or clinic/hospital settings preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and develop relationships at all organizational levels.

  • Ability to navigate a matrix organizational structure

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$73,400 - $122,300
