The Systems Reporting Analyst I will define the current reporting activities for the development of existing and future reporting procedures and models by charting existing processes. This position will develop models, procedures, and protocols for reporting in concert with company goals in conjunction with data owners and business units. The Systems Reporting Analyst will research, evaluate, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing reporting procedures and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes. This position will provide operation leaders with recommendations and implement enhancements from findings. The Systems Reporting Analyst will develop routines and procedures for end-users to facilitate best practices use of reporting tools and applications. Job Details:
Remote Opportunity! Communicate reporting changes, enhancements, and modifications (verbally or through written documentation) to management and other employees so that issues and solutions are understood. Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define reporting requirements and goals. Create prototype reporting models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to system programmers. Create dashboards and other visual reporting that displays information in a manner that operations and support can quickly pivot strategy to improve impacted KPI. Maintain a detailed catalog of all reports & dashboards that are scheduled. Own the "Reporting & Analytics" request tracker queue and ensure that as request come in, they are assigned, progress tracked, and deadlines are met. Work with application development staff to coordinate the creation and management of reporting structures. Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives for improving processes in reporting systems across the organization. Advise department and line managers regarding appropriate, effective, and efficient use of organizational reporting capabilities and functions. Liaise with various business groups in the organization to facilitate implementation of new or improved reporting processes. Provide extensive input on the implementation of reporting structures regarding technical changes and change management. Show commitment to continuous improvement using new technologies and methodologies-always accounting for changing business demand driving highly efficient results Demonstrate ability to remain current in reporting space striving for opportunities that will allow reporting to be a core CBE strength Provide demonstrable thought leadership in the arena of reporting and reporting analysis-detailing the path to future enhancements Execute change by following well-prepared planning-seamlessly bringing end users to better products and services Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new processes, and other post-implementation support In depth knowledge and experience with CBE core software applications, including cat. Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in Computer Science, MIS, or related field preferred. 1 to 3 years of analysis (statistical, business, data, operational, or financial) experience preferred. Must be able to obtain government clearance after hire. US Citizenship is required by the US government in order to obtain government clearance. Proven experience with reporting tools, software, and other applications, including but not limited to PowerBI, MS SQL, SAS, SSRS and Crystal Reports. Proven experience with report writing and technical requirements analysis, business process modeling/mapping, methodology development, and data modeling. Considerable exposure to the operation and analysis of relational database software and standards, as well as data retrieval methodologies. Extensive practical knowledge in importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flowcharts.
The pay range for this position is $48,000-$65,000/year. An individual's actual compensation will depend on the individual's qualifications and experience.
