Overview:

The Senior Manager, Data Analytics will lead and oversee the company's data analytics functions, focusing on web engagement metrics, business performance analytics, and reporting. This role will be responsible for managing two key teams: one focusing on Google Analytics and website engagement statistics, and the other focused on business analytics and Tableau reporting. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights, optimize marketing performance, and support strategic decision-making.

What you'll do:
  • Leadership & Team Management:
  • Lead and manage a team of data analysts, ensuring that they are aligned with company goals and equipped with the tools and knowledge to succeed.
  • Supervise and mentor two direct reports: one responsible for Google Analytics and website engagement, and the other for business analytics and Tableau reporting.
  • Foster a collaborative environment to ensure the smooth integration of data across business units.
  • Data Analytics & Reporting:
  • Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of both marketing performance and business data, ensuring accurate reporting and actionable insights.
  • Manage the end-to-end reporting process, from data extraction to presentation, utilizing tools like Google Analytics, Tableau, and SQL.
  • Provide regular reports and insights on website engagement, business KPIs, and overall marketing performance to senior leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with marketing, IT, product, and other departments to align data analysis with business goals and provide insights for optimization and growth.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams needing data-driven insights.
  • Strategic Decision-Making:
  • oIdentify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement by analyzing business performance and web engagement metrics.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to leadership to influence decision-making and guide marketing strategies.
  • Data Tools and Platforms:
  • Ensure efficient use and optimization of analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Tableau, and other business intelligence tools.
  • Maintain and evolve SQL queries and dashboards to improve the overall business and web analytics infrastructure.
You should apply if you bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Marketing, Business Analytics, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in data analytics, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial or senior-level role.
  • Proven experience with web analytics (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and business intelligence platforms (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
  • Strong SQL skills with the ability to extract and manipulate data from various databases.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Expertise in Google Analytics (including setting up, configuring, and analyzing web data).
  • Proficient in Tableau or similar BI tools for dashboard creation and reporting.
  • Strong SQL knowledge for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting.
  • Experience with data visualization, reporting, and predictive analytics.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset.
  • Candidate must have thirst for knowledge, passion for data to tell the story that drives immediate impact, and huge curiosity.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
