In this critical role on AlixPartners' Executive / Partner & Managing Director (PMD) Recruiting team, you will play a critical role in all parts of executive recruitment process, from market mapping to interviewing to onboarding. You will serve as a key member of the Americas team, with additional opportunities to work with the team globally. The PMD Recruiting Talent Acquisition Senior Professional reports to the PMD Recruiting Talent Acquisition Manager. This role is in one of our core United States offices, ideally New York, Detroit, or Chicago, although other major markets may also be considered. Paid relocation is not available. Occasional travel may be expected. At its core, this role will work closely with the global PMD recruitment team, candidates, and stakeholders to ensure all parties experience a timely, efficient, caring, and high-quality search process. You will also help manage the executive candidate onboarding experience and program, liaising with all relevant parties primarily in the United States. The role is highly visible, internally and externally, with significant responsibility and opportunity to grow into different areas of recruitment and HR. Specifically, you will: Research & Writing:
- Conduct research on market trends and the executive talent landscape in management consulting, bringing market insights to the team and internal stakeholders.
- Support the development of a focused search strategy.
- Assist in preparing collateral for internal clients and stakeholders including candidate bios, search overviews, mapping reports, and business cases.
Candidate Management:
- Contact prospective candidates to share information about AlixPartners and opportunities at the firm, positioning yourself as a brand ambassador and trusted resource about the firm.
- Conduct in-depth interviews to assess candidate qualifications against the needs of the firm and AlixPartners' core competencies.
- Manage candidate relationships throughout the entire life cycle of the search. Partner with the greater PMD recruitment team to ensure the process is efficient and thorough.
- Develop long-term relationships with prospects and candidates.
- Continue to serve as a trusted advisor and support for candidates after they join the firm, developing onboarding plans for placements and providing post-placement support.
- Work with colleagues in your team and other groups to continually improve the candidate experience, from their first engagement with AlixPartners to their onboarding process.
Internal Relationships and Client Management
- Create or co-create regular reports and collateral for internal stakeholders, ensuring the reports and ATS are aligned and that the documents provide an accurate, powerful snapshot of the status of the search and market.
- Serve as an active voice in executive recruitment update calls with hiring managers.
- Partner across a multitude of stakeholders (e.g. HR team members, other recruiters, office managers, key leaders) with the aim of developing productive and trusting relationships with colleagues across the firm.
What you'll need
- Three - four (3-4) years of experience in full life cycle recruiting in executive search firm or an in-house executive search team. Ideally with experience placing candidates at management consulting firms.
- Experience as a researcher, mapping talent, and conducting market research.
- Proven success simultaneously managing multiple searches and working across teams.
- Ability to analyze, organize, and synthesize large volumes of information into insights.
- Demonstrated skill in building and maintaining relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders.
- Experience working with a CRM system or ATS (e.g., Greenhouse) preferred.
- Exhibit skill and developing mastery of professional communications (written and verbal) in English, displaying adeptness in writing, articulating, and delivering information with confidence and impact.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal clients and across departments within AlixPartners.
- Act with the highest regard to professionalism, confidentiality, and ethics.
- Ability to work independently to drive multiple, shifting priorities and adapting to changing circumstances.
- Foster an environment of collaboration; viewed as a team player.
- Excellent client-service orientation and experience demonstrating the ability to influence and successfully collaborate with a range of global stakeholders across a complex matrix.
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Teams, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to travel, as required.
- Willingness to work outside of normal U.S. business hours, and as unique projects/needs arise. We can flex time, but there may be early morning or evening items that need a response (8am ET or 6-8pm CT).
- Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday

The salary range for this role takes into account a number of factors and is between $85,000/yearly - $95,000/yearly with potential eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
