About This Role:
Tria is seeking an experienced Technical Writer and Documentation Specialist to join a team vital to military medical logistics and biomedical equipment repair services. The Technical Writer and Documentation Specialist will play a key role in producing Air Combat Command medical guidance, procedures, and doctrine. They will also augment government staffing by managing documentation projects, implementing medical readiness and logistics support plans, and creating comprehensive procedural documentation.

Responsibilities:
  • Create technical documentation in support of medical logistics and the Program. This includes researching technical specifications and development documents, writing, editing, and translating documentation, create materials that help different audiences understand health and medical situations.
  • Ensure that the documentation is clear and compliant with regulations.

The "Need-to-Have" Skills & Qualifications:
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • Experience working with a military team operating at a Major Command or Headquarters level and expertise in DoD and Air Force technical publishing tools and methodologies, publication management procedures and editorial standards and be knowledgeable of Air Force ground medical capabilities, planning factors, and operational concepts.
  • Experience shall include development and management of Air Force Medical Service tactical doctrine, such as Air Force Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures.
Professional Certifications:

Education: Associate's degree in business or related field.
Clearance:
Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance - Must be a U.S. Citizen*
Years of Professional Experience:
8 years of technical writing and editing field experience
