The Space Vehicles team is growing and comprises a cross-disciplinary group of industry veterans and young talent alike. The focus is on the development of satellite buses, Orbital Maneuvering Vehicles (OMVs), space tugs, and more. The team is a tight-knit group of collaboration-oriented professionals that welcome others looking to work on multi-faceted, complex problems as a team.

The Arvada, CO location is nestled near the foothills of the front range, just west of Denver. The office is a 10-minute drive from downtown Golden and Arvada and is an easy commute from most of the Denver Metro area. Colorado offers year-round outdoor activities and is a melting pot of cultures.

Our team inMoog Space and Defense Groupis looking for a SV Bus Test Engineer to join our Space Vehicles team in Arvada, CO. For you, working with us can mean deeper job satisfaction, better rewards, and a great quality of life inside and outside of work.

As a SV Bus Test Engineer, you will:

  • Support the development and generation of test plans

  • Write test procedures (which requires a thorough understanding of the product, requirements, test plans, and the associated tests)

  • Develop test scripts

  • Perform testing activities at unit and spacecraft level

  • Document test anomalies and lead the troubleshooting effort to resolve test discrepancies.

  • Write test reports to document testing results

  • Interface with the customer during program reviews and customer meetings to determine testing requirements and methods.

  • Improve test methods and processes through automation, computer analysis, and innovative thinking.

To be considered for the SV Bus Test Engineer role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • BS Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace is desirable)

  • 2+ years of Test Engineer work experience

  • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools

It'd be great if you also had:

  • Experience in the spacecraft design

  • Experience with thermal vacuum systems and vibration testing

  • Experience with Python and LabView programming

  • Strong technical writing and communication skills

Salary Range Transparency:

Arvada, CO $80,000.00-$125,000.00 Annually

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
