Position Overview:
The Associate Business Systems Analyst (ABSA) is responsible for supporting all of the system and process needs of specific user groups within our company, such as Sales, Ecommerce, Procurement, Logistics, etc under the direction of a BSA. The position focuses on developing a complete understanding of the end-users' business needs and designing system solutions to effectively support those business processes. The ABSA serves as an apprentice to the primary liaison between the business users and the development teams.

The Business Systems Associate Analyst is primarily responsible for:
  • Learning on the job while supporting BSAs in the delivery of solutions that improve business functions for Our company.
  • Providing product ownership for application development/enhancements/fixes requested by an assigned business area.
  • Developing business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Assisting in the construction and delivery of IT roadmaps for the assigned business/functional area particularly SCM/Supply Chain.
  • Creating and maintaining constructive, positive partnerships between IT and assigned business/functional areas.
  • Fully understanding the business processes of users in the areas of responsibility.
  • Learning the applications to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Managing and resolving support issues and escalations as assigned.
  • Ensuring root causes are identified and appropriately communicated and documented.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • ERP Implementation and Configuration: Execute core configuration activities of ERP systems.
  • Map and configure processes related to warehouse and inventory management.
  • Business Process and Capability Mapping: Quickly learn and map business processes to ERP system capabilities.
  • Ability to understand, describe and document processes and capabilities
  • Bug Management and Troubleshooting: Manage the lifecycle of system bugs, including creation, information addition, triage, and resolution.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure effective bug resolution.
  • Communicate with users to confirm that solutions meet their needs.
  • Project and Initiative Management: Assist and support smaller projects or initiatives from inception to completion.
  • Suggest process improvements based on system capabilities.
  • Ensure end-to-end ownership of processes, from identifying needs to implementing solutions.
What you will bring to the team:
Education:
  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
Experience:
  • 1+ year of experience in business systems analysis, data analysis, systems functional analysis, and business case development.
  • Background in supporting Professional Services business units and familiarity with core business processes such as project management, resource management, timekeeping, expense management, services billing, and P&L.
  • Experience with Tier-1 PSA tools-Tenrox preferred.
Technical Skills:
  • Extensive experience with ERP systems, particularly in SCM configuration and implementation.
  • Familiarity with database management and basic programming for troubleshooting purposes.
  • Knowledge of business intelligence tools for reporting and analysis.
Soft Skills:
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, users, systems, and deadlines.
  • Team player with a proactive problem-solving attitude.
Technology Focus & Requirements:
  • Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP
  • Experience with Web Applications and cloud-based systems
Highly preferred: MS Certified: Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant etc.
Compensation:
Qualified candidates can expect a salary range of $70,000 - $80,000.
