The Role

As a contract Analyst at AArete, you will work with clients to obtain an understanding of critical issues and create strategies for meaningful change. In doing so, you'll leverage your analytical skills, entrepreneurial spirit, and commitment to excellence. A critical thinker with exceptional communication skills is how you are described. You will dive deep to research business challenges, data analytics, business case development, and are driven to support project success.

In this role, you are responsible for demonstrating analytical skills and will directly support the successful execution of project goals and deliverables. You'll have an opportunity to make an impact by solving unique business challenges, both with client and internal projects.

Work You'll Do

  • Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft Excel and SQL for data analysis
  • Gain insight from analysis and data interpretation to identify client savings opportunities and put together an actionable business case
  • Prepare deliverables for final review with engagement manager
  • Work collaboratively within your project team
  • Understand business specific context of clients and develop a streamlined approach to resolution
  • Exercise excellent judgement, and clear and direct communication in all aspects of your work, especially with clients
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately
  • High self-motivation and accountability
  • Direct client interaction, including possible travel to client location
  • Applicants must be based in Chicago, IL, and flexible to work from our Chicago office as needed
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship

Preferred Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in either healthcare (Payer and/or Provider) industry, analytical consulting experience, or related work experience within a given industry
  • Basic SQL proficiency for data analysis

Compensation

The estimated pay for this position is $49 / hr. Please note that this is a guideline and individual total compensation may vary due to numerous factors including but not limited to experience level, certifications, and other relevant business considerations.
