Overview
St. John Fisher University is an independent, liberal arts institution that provides a transformative education to approximately 3,800 undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students each year. Across its five Schools, Fisher offers nearly 40 majors in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, business, education, and nursing; 11 pre-professional programs; and master's and doctoral programs in business, nursing, education, pharmacy, and public health. Job Responsibilities
This position assists the Head Football coach in educating and preparing the student athletes for intercollegiate competition. Specifically, the Offensive Coordinator is responsible for the offensive playbook and management of plays by the position coaches and student-athletes. Along with the assisting the planning, organization, recruitment for and administration of the football program.

* Adhere to all NCAA, conference, and institutional guidelines, policies, andrules
* Demonstrate leadership and professional behavior when dealing withstudent-athletes
* Maintain positive constructive working relationships with student-athletes, athletics department coaches and staff, and all members of the University community
* At all times promote the Football program in a positive way
* Recruiting (25%)
o Teamworks software usage to submit and update recruit information
o Corresponding via mailings, phone calls and emailso Support recruit visits
o Attending off campus recruiting events
o Working with admissions office to recruit student athletes
* Football Team Coaching & Education (55%)
o Practice planning and on-the-field coaching for the offenseo Individual & small group coaching sessions
o Strength training & education sessions in conjunction with our Strength and Conditioning Coach
o Nutrition & injury prevention
o Speed & agility improvement
o Fitness & strength training
o Oversee academic, moral, ethical and athletic development of thestudent-athletes - personal & offense team meetings
o Offensive game preparation - team meetings
o Game day meetings, coaching, post-game debrief
o Film breakdown and review - preparation for team meetings
o Team film sessions & meetings
o Participation in community service events
* Football Team Management Support (15%)
o Creation, implementation and education of the offensive play book
o Game day duties
o Help supervise team during away contests
o Organize and participate in fund-raising activities
o Coordinate duties and supervision of offensive positional part-time assistant coaches
* Other tasks as assigned (5%)
o Game management assignment for winter/spring sport.
o Administration assignment (e.g. work study scheduling, fitnessroom cleaning, intramurals, etc.)
o NCAA annual rules test and other college required educational/training programs
Education / Experience
Bachelor's degree required. Football knowledge required and playing experience desired. Collegiate coaching experience highly preferred
Competencies / Skills
Ability to demonstrate football related skills, interpersonal skills between students, staff, alumni and friends of the University.
Supervision of Employees
Coordinate duties and supervision of the offensive positional part-time assistant coaches and work study students supporting game management and administrative tasks.
Work Environment
Well lighted, well ventilated pleasant work area. Work with students and accompany the team when traveling. Ability to endure and work in less than ideal weather conditions from high heat and humidity to freezing temperatures and precipitation.
Equipment to be Used
Must be able to be proficient in word, excel and able to learn other football related computer programs. Train and become proficient with the Teamworks software system for recruiting and managing student athletes. Equipment related to sport. Equipment related to sport.
Job Type Full-time
Work Hours
Schedule varies depending on if in-season or out-of-season. The ability to work nights and weekends required to support practices, games and recruiting events.

Salary / Hourly Range $46,325.00 - $54,500.00 per year

The salary range for this role is set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to internal equity, qualifications, experience, and education. The above hiring range is one component of the University's competitive Total Rewards package which can be viewed here
