C&S Waste Solutionsis currently hiring for a full timeLaborer/Sorterto work out of our site inUkiah, CA!

ScheduleisMonday through Friday 4AM-3PM. Occasional Saturdays as needed.Starting pay is $20 per hour. The pay range for this job category is $20-$21 per hour.

The Position:

We are looking for ahigh energy Sorter/Laborerto join the team at C&S Waste Solutions in Ukiah, CA.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
• Promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
• Be punctual and on time.
• Wear proper PPE at all times.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

• Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods at a time.
• Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
• Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions and environments.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
