SAS Data Management

Genesis10 is currently seeking an SAS Data Management Consultant with our client in the financial Industry located in Saint Louis, MO, and Charlotte, NC. This is an 18+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and execute production Big Data processing jobs while ensuring data integrity and accuracy
• Analyze data outputs to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement
• Validate data through structured quality control processes and ensure alignment with business requirements
• Develop and maintain SAS production jobs to enhance data management workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address data challenges and optimize data solution
• Ensure compliance with data governance policies, procedures, and security requirements
• Provide clear communication and summaries of technical findings to business stakeholders

• 4+ years of experience in Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, consulting, training, military service, or education
• Proficiency in Base SAS programming for data management and production batch processing
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Linux, and vi/Vim for data manipulation and analysis.
• Excellent communication skills to clearly convey technical findings and collaborate with business teams.
• Experience in validating, analyzing, and managing large datasets within a structured environment

• Experience working with Big Data environments in a financial or enterprise setting
• Ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies and quality issues
• Background in developing and optimizing SAS batch jobs for production environments
