Department: Customer Service & Development

Reports To: Sr. Customer Service Team Leader - Consignment

Salary Grade: $46,667 - $70,000 annually, plus bonus opportunity

As a Consignment Specialist, you will be responsible for working directly with our supplier consignment partners. You will be the first point of contact for inquiries and actions related to the supplier's consignment inventory.

WHAT YOU'LL DO



  • Work in collaboration with Business Development Managers and Supplier Integration Specialists on new consignment supplier rollouts.
  • Provide suppliers with the necessary information tied to lot codes.
  • Execute all inventory research tied to returns, surprise returns and refusals.
  • Work with consignment suppliers to initiate disposals, returns and donations on their inventory.
  • Follow up post launch with all consignment suppliers to ensure program success.
  • Provide feedback to internal stakeholders regarding enhancements needed to the consignment program.
  • Monitor our consignment service level and call out any potential issues that may be leading to poor outbound fill rate to consignment customers.
  • Confirm accurate item eligibilities are in place for consignment
  • Apply lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position.


YOU MUST HAVE



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent Dot experience
  • Complex and creative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple departments
  • A strategic mindset to build long-term partner solutions
  • Strong organizational skills


YOU MAY ALSO HAVE



  • History of inter-departmental collaboration
  • Microsoft Excel & Outlook Experience
  • Ability to manage difficult conversations


ROLE SPECIFICS



  • Travel: Occasional travel for company events and consignment supplier visits. Must have ability to independently travel as needed, without restriction, by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train.
