Provides age appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members. NBCOT (National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required within 6 months of eligibility. PACE and Resource Pool specific incumbents for this position require a minimum of one year of experience, with PACE experience working with the frail or elderly population. Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy preferred, NBCOT (National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy). Qualifications: BLD - Bachelor's Level Degree: Occupational Therapy (Required) Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, NBCOT Certified Occupational Therapist - Certifications - National Board Certification In Occupational Therapy (NBCOT), Occupational Therapist License (OT) - State license - North Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy (NCBOT), Occupational Therapist License (OT) - State license - Other/National, Occupational Therapist License (OT) - State license - Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP) Skills Sentara Healthcare prides itself on the diversity and inclusiveness of its close to an almost 30,000-member workforce.
