Description

The primary function of this position is Responsible for assisting in the performance of a variety of tasks related to fabrication, construction, modification, and testing of air beam structures. Ensures high quality.

Essential Duties:



  • Follows and adheres to verbal and written work instructions
  • Assists with the integration, re-work, and repair of fabric structures (i.e. bonding, cutting, etc.); fabrication, assembling, construction, and packaging.
  • Assists with records data and photographic documentation.
  • May assist in troubleshooting prototypes with assistance from supervisor, manager, and/or Engineering Dept.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Reports all accidents, violations, or infractions to the Production Supervisor and/or Production Manager.
  • May assist with the receipt and distribution of materials.
  • May assist with procurement of materials.
  • Attends training courses deemed beneficial to the position including in-house and external training.
  • Supports and participates in the Quality Management Program.
  • Performs other activities, responsibilities, and related duties as required.
  • Observes workmanship at previously made parts and subassemblies to detect defects and notifies supervisor or quality control inspector


  • Supports, communicates, reinforces and defends the mission, values and culture of the organization
  • Adheres to all quality and safety standards
  • Supports other projects and performs duties as assigned


Education/Experience/Other Skills & Abilities:



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Desired 1 year certificate from college or technical school; experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 1-3 years industry related experience
  • Must be able to speak, read and understand English
  • Ability to work from verbal and written instructions
  • Knowledgeable of, and committed to follow the company's safety policies and procedures
  • Operation of small power tools, other hand tools, computerized and high-pressure equipment
  • Goal oriented and team focused to ensure completion of projects in a timely manner
