Description THE ROLE We're looking for a Freelance Spanish Editor (based remotely in the US East Coast) to support us in our mission to deliver translated and culturally-adapted fitness content to our Spanish speaking Members. RESPONSIBILITIES Review the EN>ES-MX and ES>EN subtitles for Peloton classes with extreme attention to detail and in a timely manner. Research and translate fitness terminology. Review/QC closed captions. Provide detailed feedback and suggest improvements to Peloton's Automatic Speech Recognition model. Translate and/or review marketing copy and assets, in and out of Smartling. Gain deep product knowledge and advise on market expectations in terms of subtitling and dubbing. Review of dubbing scripts and provide feedback. Advise on and update Peloton's Dubbing Guidelines. Participate in voice casting sessions and advise on suitability of Spanish voices. Review dubbed classes and provide feedback. Support the Content Localisation team with ad-hoc linguistic tasks as needed. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Spanish native speaker with advanced knowledge of grammar, syntax, idioms and slang Fluent in written and spoken English 4+ years of subtitling experience 6+ years of translation, localisation and transcreation experience Experience with subtitling/translating in one or more translation management systems Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines Experience in attending dubbing recording sessions is a plus Interest in fitness and content production an advantage Skills Spanish, content management tools, translation, subtitles, dubbing, quality framework for translation Top Skills Details Spanish,content management tools,translation,subtitles,dubbing,quality framework for translation Additional Skills & Qualifications interest in fitness and content production is a plus Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $26.00/hr.
