Associate Product Marketing Manager

Location: Santa Clara (Picarro HQ) / Remote

Job Term: Full-Time

The Opportunity:

Picarro is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Product Marketing Manager (APMM) to join our dynamic team focused on delivering solutions for environmental monitoring needs. In this role, you will support the product marketing team in bringing innovative products to market, contributing to marketing strategies, and assisting in driving awareness and adoption across diverse industry segments.

Responsibilities:

Product Knowledge & Support: Collaborate with product management, engineering, and sales teams to develop a foundational understanding of our solutions suite, including its functionalities, target markets, and value propositions. Assist in conducting product reviews and gathering user feedback to ensure marketing strategies align with customer needs, particularly concerning Ethylene Oxide (EtO) sterilization and Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) emissions monitoring.

Market Research & Analysis: Conduct and support market research on the regulatory framework of Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs) monitoring in various countries to identify potential business opportunities for Picarro. Support research initiatives to track industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities in environmental compliance. Assist in competitor analysis and contribute insights to help the team stay informed about industry developments, with a focus on evolving EtO sterilization regulations and VOC emission standards.

Product Messaging & Content Assistance: Help in developing product positioning and marketing materials that communicate the benefits and unique features of our solutions. Integrate the "why" into company marketing, focusing on building loyal customers by ensuring consistency of message across marketing platforms. Contribute to the creation of marketing collateral such as product datasheets, brochures, presentations, case studies, and blog posts, tailored to various customer segments.

Sales Enablement Support: Work with the sales team to provide necessary product information and assist in developing sales tools. Reach out to customers, gather pain point data, craft solutions, and feed that information to the Product Marketing Managers (PMMs). Participate in product training sessions and gather feedback from sales representatives to help refine product messaging and support materials.

Campaign Support & Lead Nurturing: Assist in executing marketing campaigns across different channels (e.g., email, social media, digital advertising, webinars, trade shows) to generate leads and promote product adoption. Help manage marketing automation tools to support lead nurturing efforts. Support the coordination of trade shows, webinars, and industry events by preparing promotional materials.

Performance Tracking & Reporting: Work with the marketing analytics team to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as website traffic, lead conversion rates, and campaign engagement. Assist in tracking marketing campaign performance using analytics tools. Support the analysis of key metrics to help optimize marketing efforts.

Regulatory Awareness: Stay informed about environmental regulations and compliance standards that affect our products and customers. Assist in translating regulatory information into actionable insights and contribute to thought leadership initiatives.

Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, STEM, environmental science, public policy, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in product marketing, product management, or related roles (including internships), preferably within the environmental or regulatory compliance space.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to translate complex topics into clear messaging.
  • Basic understanding of environmental and regulatory compliance challenges faced by various industries.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly.
  • Familiarity with marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics) is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.


Bonus points:



  • Experience in creating marketing materials for a technical audience.
  • Knowledge of specific environmental or regulatory compliance standards, particularly related to EtO sterilization and VOC emissions.
  • Exposure to content marketing strategies (e.g., SEO, content creation).


Salary & Benefits:

The base salary range for this full-time position is $95k - $105k.

Our total compensation packages includes base salary, bonus eligibility, and equity.
