Location:HealthPark Medical Center -9981 So HealthPark CircleFort Myers FL 33908 Department: Nursing Administration Work Type: PRN Shift: Shift 3/7:00:00 PM to 7:30:00 AM Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$51.50 - $51.50 / hour SummaryThe Administrative Supervisor/Flow Coordinator coordinates and supervises inter- and intra-departmental activities on designated shifts serving as an active member of the administrative team. The Administrative Supervisor/Flow Coordinator facilitates appropriate patient placement based on clinical need and expedites flow of patients within the facility and overall organization, and is also available to all departments as a resource. The Administrative Supervisor/Flow Coordinator facilitates communication with Administration, other departments, and staff. The Administrative Supervisor/Flow Coordinator works closely with Security in providing a safe environment and is responsible for representing the organization to all customers. The Administrative Supervisor/Flow Coordinator allocates available resources to promote safe, efficient, effective and compassionate nursing care. The Administrative Supervisor/Flow Coordinator provides direction to patient care staff to promote quality patient care and nursing services on a continuous basis. The Administrative Supervisor/Flow Coordinator is responsible for making rounds and ensuring consistent nursing standards guide the provision of nursing care through established standards subscribed by the American Nurses Association and in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act. RequirementsEducation: Two years of formal education beyond high school, or Associate degree required, BSN preferred. Experience: Minimum of 4 years experience as an acute care RN. Previous experience in Nursing Leadership preferred. Certification: N/A License: Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Florida. Other: Knowledge of current theoretical approaches to the delivery of nursing care. Ability to participate in developing and implementing organizational strategies to improve the delivery of care. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Certification in Nursing Administration or appropriate specialty desired. US:FL:Fort Myers |
