Technical Writer - Senior

Senior Marketing-Focused Technical Writer
Location: Remote (Must be based in Austin, TX)
Experience: 5-7 years

We are seeking a Senior Marketing-Focused Technical Writer to craft compelling, data-driven documents that showcase the value of our products to key decision-makers. In this role, you will transform complex technical information into clear, persuasive content that demonstrates how our solutions improve efficiency and performance. You'll work closely with marketing, sales, engineering and business development teams to support initiatives ensuring our messaging aligns with customer needs.

• Develop marketing-focused technical content that highlights the benefits of our products for decision-makers.
• Compile and present performance data to showcase how our solutions improve efficiency (e.g., demonstrating how our products enable teams to work X times faster).
• Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather insights while taking a project management approach to content creation-setting deadlines and ensuring materials are delivered on time.
• Create and maintain documentation using Word, FrameMaker, XML and Adobe InDesign .
• Support sales, marketing, and business development efforts by producing collateral that drives customer engagement.
• Collaborate with design teams to enhance documents with visual storytelling elements (experience with Adobe products is a plus).

• 5-7 years of experience in technical writing with a marketing focus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, FrameMaker, and XML.
• Strong ability to analyze technical data and present it in a way that resonates with business decision-makers.
• Background in supporting marketing, sales, or business development through documentation.

• Familiarity with x86 architecture.
• Experience with Adobe InDesign to enhance documentation.

• Reliability - Able to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work consistently.
• Self-Directed & Self-Sufficient - Can take ownership of projects with minimal oversight.
• Strong Communication & Team Player - Works well cross-functionally with SMEs, marketing, and sales teams.
• Proactive Problem Solver - Able to anticipate challenges and find solutions to meet deadlines.

• Remote-first role but must be located in Austin, TX for occasional on-site needs.
