Compensation Partner (Remote)

Position Summary:

The Compensation Partner for TTM, will report directly to the Director of Total Rewards North America. The incumbent will serve as a strategic compensation partner to the business. Consulting with and influencing business leaders and HR partners on complex compensation matters. Develops, communicates, and implements appropriate solutions (programs, processes, tools) that are aligned with the Global Total Rewards Strategy to align with business objective. Provides expertise in job analyses and the TTM Global job architecture. Advises on external market analyses and internal competitiveness. Utilizes critical thinking and analytical skills to advice on compensation recommendations, bonus and variable compensation plans, and market studies. Collaborates with other compensation partners to ensure global alignment and compliant consistent processes are in place. Responsible for Total Rewards analysis and guidance for all compliance and audits. This is a full-time position in which the candidate may be required to travel periodically. The hours vary as support is required primarily across North America, but occasionally in Europe and Asia.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partners with the assigned client group to provide strategic support for all compensation matters

  • Supports the business-aligned teams in facilitating compensation processes such as bonus planning, annual comp planning, equity planning, promotions, and other key compensation initiatives

  • Proposes solutions and works with clients to implement solutions affecting business or function

  • Initiates and maintains exceptional working relationships with the business and people teams within function

  • Works with the Global Total Rewards team to develop programs, processes and tools to enhance the delivery and administration of compensation programs

  • Provides data and oversight for all government audits and compliance related matters for the assigned client group

  • Manages strategic projects while also managing routine activities

  • Provides ad hoc support and develops exceptional cross-functional partnerships to support business needs

  • Monitors the effectiveness of existing comp policies, guidelines, and procedures. Recommends enhancements as needed

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of compensation best practices, values, methodologies, theories, and wage/hour regulations

  • Strong business acumen and comfort in enabling, participating in, and influencing business decisions

  • Robust analytical skills and business sense, with an ability to communicate clearly and authoritatively when advising business leaders

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel including experience creating dynamic reports and pivots, building formulas, task automation using macros and VBA, and managing large datasets.

  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with high volumes of workload

  • Workday Advanced Compensation experience strongly preferred

  • Due to ITAR requirements, applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident

Required Education and Experience:

Education: Bachelor degree or equivalent experience required

Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of applicable compensation analysis experience with 3+ years' experience performing compensation analysis in the Advanced Manufacturing and Aerospace and Defense industry; Experience working directly for large A&D prime systems and/or global compensation experience desirable

Compensation and Benefits:

TTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. Benefits are available on the 1st of the month following date of hire. For some positions, only PTO and holiday benefits are offered.

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$75,634 - $126,057

Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition ofForeign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
