Job Purpose:

We are looking for a skilled RF Test Technician to join our team, playing a crucial role in ensuring the performance and reliability of our space flight hardware. In this hands-on position,

you will be responsible for setting up, calibrating, and operating a variety of test equipment to perform comprehensive functional, operational, and environmental tests.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:



  • Perform Rigorous Testing: Conduct in-depth functional, operational, and environmental tests on space flight hardware, precisely following test procedures.
  • Optimize RF Performance: Juggle multiple test benches and setups, using specialized and standard equipment to optimize RF performance and ensure compliance with engineering andquality standards.
  • Data Analysis & Troubleshooting: Analyze and interpret electrical and RF test data to diagnose malfunctions. You'll also provide valuable feedback and recommendations for any necessaryrework or repairs to our Test and Responsible Engineers
  • Equipment Mastery: Operate a range of test equipment, including PNAX, Phase Noise Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Digital Volt Meters, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, and
  • Network Analyzers. You'll also manage basic lab equipment like thermal chambers and ovens for environmental testing.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Meticulously document all test results and contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements related to hardware, procedures,and other operational aspects.


Education and Experience:



  • Experience: At least 4 years of hands-on experience with thin film RF/Electrical tuning, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Education: An Associates or Technical Degree in Electrical Technology is required.
  • Quality Focused: You can read, understand, and strictly adhere to Quality policies and ISOdirectives.
  • Computer Savvy: Proficient in using Microsoft Excel
  • Adaptable: Comfortable working in an ISO9001:2000/SAE AS9100 certified environment.
  • Flexible Schedule: Able to work any shift on a flexible schedule, with overtime required asneeded.
  • Independent Worker: Capable of handling general assignments and working effectively withperiodic supervision.
  • Physical Requirements: Able to move test racks and equipment to set up various testconfigurations.
  • Experience in defense or aerospace industry
  • 2 years as a Test Technician in a manufacturing environment or in the military
