Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

This paragraph summarizes the general nature, level and purpose of the job.

This Project Coordinator is responsible for managing a number of ongoing projects within the Family Guidance & Bereavement program. The project coordinator will plan, organize, and execute the program's annual events such as the Day of Remembrance, Family Memory Making Days, Grandparents' Brunch, and Summer Scamper. This position will also coordinate ongoing projects such as the hospital wide bereavement kits, the quarterly newsletter which goes out to nearly 1500 bereaved families, the Bereavement Library, the Memory Bear Project, database management, and more.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the hospital's policies and procedures, including its Service Standards and its Code of Conduct.

* Project Coordination- oversight of a variety of departmental projects such as Memory Bears
* Plans and executes 4-5 major events during the year
* Management and monitoring of hospital wide bereavement kits
* Graphic development and mailing of semi-annual newsletter
* Ordering supplies for the program's clinical work
* Maintaining the database and mailing list of bereaved families
* Maintaining our grief library and brochures/booklets of grief literature for families
* General administrative support to Manager and clinical staff

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.

* Prepares and manages accurate file systems in a manner that is consistent with standard office practice.
* Ability to utilize critical thinking skills and time management principles in developing effective work plans to achieve goals.
* Knowledge of computer software systems including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint as well as other office equipment including Meridian phone system, copiers, facsimile, etc.

Pay Range
Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role.
Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range.
Minimum to Midpoint Range (Hourly): $43.84 to $49.71
