The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Summary The Department of Neurology at Columbia University is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the department's outpatient child neurology clinical practice. The practice cares for children with the full range of neurological diseases and disorders, including headache/migraine, neurodevelopmental disorders, multiple sclerosis, neuromuscular disorders, movement disorders, seizures, and others. The Nurse Practitioner will work under the supervision of the attending physicians and be expected to ramp up his/her own schedule of patients over the course of the first year. Education and training in general and subspecialty neurological care will be provided as necessary. This position will involve working at a new, large multi-specialty medical practice in Westchester White Plains, adjacent to New York City. Minimum Qualifications Requires a Master's degree or equivalent in education and experience, plus five years of related experiences Preferred Qualifications * Experience working with pediatric epilepsy patients and caregivers Other Requirements
