This Senior Fellow position has a concurrent title of Edison W. Spencer Chair in Technology Management (Spencer Chair) and is part of the senior leadership team in the Technological Leadership Institute. This is a 100% time, 12-month, non-tenured, academic professional (P&A) appointment that is annually renewable dependent upon performance and the availability of funding. The Spencer Chair is responsible for developing strategic partnerships with internal partners within the University including the College of Science & Engineering and external industry partners to promote academic and non-academic programs. This position will work with partners to identify continuing education needs and develop innovative, customized learning experiences to meet those needs. The position is also expected to be a thought leader and to pursue scholarship in their area(s) of expertise. Teaching & Capstones 45%

The Technological Leadership Institute (TLI) is an interdisciplinary center at the University of Minnesota established in 1987 by an endowment from the Honeywell Foundation.
