Description

Sigma Defense is actively looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Manager to take charge of the planning, execution, and administration of payroll processes across multiple companies and states. This pivotal role involves overseeing the payroll operations for a diverse workforce of more than 800 employees. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in payroll management, along with the ability to navigate the complexities of a multi-company structure while maintaining the highest standards of efficiency and confidentiality.

Requirements
  • 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Professional HR Certifications is preferred.
  • Experience using Humanic and Fidelity is preferred.

Essential Job Responsibilities (not all-inclusive)

  • Manages and administers multi-company, multi-state payroll for over 800+/- employees.
  • Administers 401k plan.
  • Administers garnishments.
  • Interacts with employees.
  • Works with HR for employee training, maintenance, and issue resolution.
  • Assists accounting staff with account reconciliations.
  • Responds to questions for adhoc reports from management.
  • Works with third party payroll provider to process payroll and maintain employer tax and agency accounts.
  • Participates in annual financial audits supporting payroll testing.
  • Leads annual 401k audit.

Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,000 annually.
