About the Position...

The Director of Portfolio Risk Management (DPR) oversees all aspects of portfolio risk management and credit review for the Bank. This position is responsible for managing the ongoing monitoring of the portfolio's credit quality, the annual review process, tickler/covenant compliance and file imaging. The DPR will act as the point of contact for credit review, Regulatory Exams and SOX compliance. The DPR is also responsible for ensuring financial statements accurately reflect the loan's credit and annual CRE reviews, covenant monitoring and file imaging are completed in a timely manner. This position may interact with clients regarding financial statement requests, obtain and evaluate appropriate information relative to the credit, determine if loan structure is appropriate, develop credit presentations, as well as make credit recommendations to the Chief Credit Officer (CCO). The DPR, along with the Credit Administrators, will also be responsible for identifying credit risk situations and reviewing credit relationships to determine the adequacy of underwriting and need for possible restructuring. This position would also be responsible for communicating with Finance and Special Assets for timely identification of credit deterioration and appropriate risk grading for ACL allocation. The DPR is also responsible for loan Policy updates/changes and training of new and existing Credit Analysts, Underwriters and Credit Risk Portfolio Managers. The DPR will work on a variety of other tasks and projects as requested including mergers and acquisitions, as well as assisting with portfolio clean up, data integrity and oversight of the Abrigo system, file imaging client and support team. This position is also responsible for Loan approvals within their designated Lending Authority and attends special asset, credit administration, MLC and DLC meetings and also serves as a member of the CECL Committee. The DPR will perform all duties accurately, timely and efficiently, and according to Bank policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines.


Qualifications

About You...

You are a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who thrives in a team environment. You also have the following:

Education/Certification: Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field. Masters Degree in related field preferred.

Required Knowledge: Knowledge of banking and lending, as well as the various regulations and standard banking practices.

Experience Required: Minimum of 10 years' experience in the financial services industry in a lending capacity.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to identify, analyze and handle credit requests.
  • Good organizational skills. Good personal computer skills, ability to use Word and Excel.
