JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Develop circuit and control concepts
* Architect, design, implement, test and debug electrical systems and products
* Analyze and design power electronics for stack management
* Develop interface circuits to control brushed DC motors, BLCD motors, solenoids, valves, variable speed fans and compressors, and igniters
* Use a variety of lab instrumentation, such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, IDE"s, programmable DC power supplies and loads to evaluate fuel cell system performance
* Design interface circuits for thermocouples, flow meters, and shock sensors
* Apply industry best practices for EMC design
* Supervise third-party EMC testing
* Redesign boards and deploy countermeasures to pass EMC trials (both emission and susceptibility)
* Develop hardware conforming to MIL-SPEC standards
* Manage engineering projects and deliver them on time

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Proven expertise as an electrical engineer (BSEE, MSEE or MSc)
* Hands-on experience using design and calculation software
* Deep knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes
* Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards
* Experience designing and analyzing analog circuits as well as digital systems with embedded microcontrollers
* Skill in interfacing with power electronics both for stack management as well as controlling electromechanical elements such as brushed DC motors, BLCD motors, solenoids, valves, and igniters
* Experience working with lab instrumentation and interface development for a variety of sensors such as thermocouples, flow, and shock sensors
* Skill in SMT rework and the ability to occasionally solder under a microscope
* 3 years of experience designing mechanical components like plastic/metal parts, assemblies
