Job Summary The Medical Staff Services Quality Review Coordinator "Coordinator" facilitates the Medical Staff Quality Review Committee's quality and peer review process as defined by Monument Health's Hospital Bylaws and Medical Staff Bylaws, TJC, CMS and SD State Statutes.Conducts reviews for quality indicator outliers and manages the Medical Staff Department's review process (Departmental or MS Peer Review) . Performs data compilation and reporting, , facilitates the PPE process in coordination with MSS Director and Medical Staff Leaders, and coordinates with Hospital Quality systematizing quality initiative. Additional Requirements Required: Preferred: Certification - Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) Experience - 1+ years of Audit/Compliance Experience; 1+ years of Quality Assurance/Improvement Experience; 3+ years of Clinical Experience Physical Requirements:Light work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
